LTC Charles Mike English, 91, US Air Force, Retired, of Smithville, TX
The family of Lieutenant Colonel Charles Mike English has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Charles honorably served his country in the United States Air force specializing in Flight Navigation. He logged countless flying hours in various aircraft including the C-123 Short Range Military Transport Air Craft, the C-130 Hercules B, and the Boeing B-47 Stratojet. While working for the State of Texas in the Emergency Management Branch, Charles extended his military career serving in the Air Force Reserves at Bergstrom Air Force Base in Austin, Texas before retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
