Please post this on behalf of the Carrizales family if you feel that it is appropriate. The family is very grateful for our part of honoring this veteran.
To All Patriot Guard Riders
Please accept our Heart Felt Thanks for your participation in the services for
Lance Corporal Juan (John) Carrizales. His parents, Mr and Mrs Daniel Carrizales, SR.
were so impressed and grateful for the Honor you showed for their Son. Extended family
members also expressed their gratitude for this special way of honoring his service for
this country. His Mother Benita is 82 years old and it was not easy for her to say goodbye
to her son. Please pray for her to be strong in the next few months as her health is fragile.
My husband Daniel Jr and I were sincerely impressed by your presentation in your support
of his brother. At first site of your Honor Guard as we approached the Church was breath taking.
Then to have the honor of you escort to the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery was comforting.
But you were not finished. We were overwhelmed with emotion at the site of the Honor Guard when
we arrived at the Cemetery. We and his parents will always be grateful to you for giving so much
of yourself to this family. Please give our thanks to Keith who came all the way from Austin.
Please know that your service to this county is what makes it so great.
With Love and Thanks
Daniel and Shirley Carrizales
