Confirmed Austin Mission
Chris Kyle U.S. Navy, Navy Seal
The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Chris Kyle 38, to participate in the graveside service of their loved one. Chris served in the U.S. Navy and was a Navy Seal. He served five tours in Iraq earning numerous awards including 2 Silver Stars and 5 Bronze Stars. He left the Navy having earned the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
Date/Time: Tuesday, February 12th, 2013 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Location: Texas State Cemetery, Austin Texas
Directions: We will stage at the old Safeway parking lot, located on the north bound IH35 frontage road between 11th and 12th street. Map link:

Timeline:
11:45am - 12:15pm Staging
12:15pm - Mission/Safety Briefing
Move to cemetery at RC discretion (short ride)
WX: Partly Cloudy, high - 70 Lo -50 , 20% chance of rain (KVUE WX)
Notes: Please arrive on time and fed, fueled, and hydrated. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. We will set up a flag line, and await the arrival of the procession from north Texas. The arriving PGR members from the Dallas area will join us on the flag line for the interment service. Remember Semper Gumby, as times can change.

If anyone wants to ride to Waco to meet ntxpgr and escort chief Kyle, I plan on heading that way. Lets meet somewhere common. I live in Elgin and can meet anywhere. |

Not comfortable riding on I35 by myself so thinking of heading to Austin in thw cage ahead of time to out of the way. |

If anyone in Austin going to Waco for ride in with North PGR let me know I will be passing through Austin area probably around 7 am to make it to Waco by about 8:30 am. Usually run toll rode for fastest/least traffic, route by Austin. I saw the shout about the austin site and have gone there for meet up informaiton.
