Edmond Edward Palko, 89, US Army Air Corps, WWII Veteran, OF Austin, TX
The family of Edmond Edward Palko has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Family's Graveside Memorial for their Loved One. Edmond has already been interred at CTSVC. Since his full family was unable to attend the original service, they are holding a Family Memorial at his gravesite at CTSVC and have asked the PGR to be there for support.
Staging Location: The side of the road, just inside the gate, directly across from the Information/Restroom Building as you enter the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery located off TX 195 just south of Killeen, TX (http://tinyurl.com/CenTexVetsCeme)
Briefing: 0930 – Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the gravesite, set up the flags and await arrival of the family.
Flagline Establishment: 0945 +/- At the direction of the Ride Captain.
WX: Partly sunny, with a high near 90. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Note: Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
