The family of Sergeant Loyd Fletcher has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Inurnment of their Loved One.
In 1999, Don joined the Army where he served for 15 years as an Army Supply Sergeant. He did one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan. Don was an outstanding soldier and Non-Commissioned Officer. Don always gave 150 percent to “Mission accomplishment” and taking care of the soldiers. While on active duty Don received Afghanistan Campaign Medal w/2 Campaign Stars, Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal (4th Award), Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Navy and Marie Corp Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Army Superior Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal (4th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star. In 2014 Don left the service and joined the 300th Special Troops Brigade of the Army Reserve. There Don continued his excellence always “Getting the Job Done” and always taking care of the Soldiers.
