Cmd Sgt Major WR "Bob" Vernon, 86, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Salado, TX
The family of Command Sergeant Major "Bob" Vernon has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in the Funeral Procession and Interment of their Loved One.
Bob proudly served in the US Army in several capacities, including combat service in Vietnam, military intelligence; later in ROTC instruction at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA; and Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery located off TX 195 just south of Killeen, TX (http://tinyurl.com/CenTexVetsCeme)
Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession from Salado, TX.
