John Lyle Travis Moran, US Air Force Veteran, OF Austin, TX
The family of Veteran John Moran has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Inurnment of their Loved One. (See also Austin portion on Austin Crossposts OR on AusPGR.org)
John served honorably and proudly in the US Air Force from 1959 through 1963. He was awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for service in Southeast Asia. John was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #8787 in Austin, TX. He was also member of the American Legion Post #299 in Manvel, ND. John was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks for more than 30 years. He served as Exalted Ruler for Elks Lodge #782 in Dover, NJ. He also served in many officer positions at Elks Lodge #201 in Austin, TX.
