The family of Army Veteran Arlie Boone has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Services of their Loved One.
Flagline Establishment: 1300/1400 +/- At the discretion of the Ride Captain/Family.
WX: Day: Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 75. South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Later Saturday: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Windy, with a north wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.
Notes:
1. Be at stagingS ON TIME and TOPPED OFF.
2. WE SUGGEST CAGING for the following reasons:
.....a. The recon will be done Friday (after this is published) - We will not know road or cemetery conditions until Friday late at which time they will be posted as comments on the website and Facebook.
.....b. It is supposed to be warm, but the cold front could move in early and the temperature begin drastically dropping by the time we depart the cemetery.
.....c. Although the family PLANS to arrive at the cemetery by 1300-1400, they are coming from Fort Worth and cannot anticipate possible traffic/weather delays.
3. BE PREPARED FOR A LONG MISSION & FOR CHANGES/DELAYS. Consider bringing warm AND cool drinks/snacks.
4. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
I offer my condolences to the family and friends of this HERO who will not be forgotten. Rest in peace forever free.
