Patriot Kay Hawkins Phillips, 73, CenTex PGR OG RC, OF Brownington, MO
The family of Kay Hawkins Phillips has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One. The family will receive visitors from 1800 to 2000 Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
Kay retired from a successful career as a professional dog handler and breeder. She was known throughout the dog show world as “The Fox Hound Lady.†Kay had several passions which included caring for her animals, proudly supporting the troops, and riding her motorcycle. She was one of the Original Ride Captains for the CenTex Patriot Guard Riders, a member of the Cen-Tex Road Rider Association, and the American Kennel Club. She was the Founder and President of a local chapter of Women in the Wind known as “The Lone Star Ladies.†Kay was a feisty woman who always carried herself with grace. She was a well-respected member of, and will be sorely missed by, the entire biker community. Notes:
1. The family has asked that the Patriot Guard Riders act as pallbearers for Kay. We will be asking for volunteers prior to establishing the flagline at the Funeral Home. Duties will extend to the cemetery.
2. Be at staging ON TIME and TOPPED OFF.
3. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
