Tec5 George Wood Dayton, 94, US Army, WWII Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient, Gatesville, TX
The family of Technician Fifth Class George Dayton has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
George entered the National Guard and served two years. He then was activated into the US Army on October 15, 1940. He served during WWII in the Pacific and was honorably discharged on November 11, 1945. He was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member the American Legion and a lifetime member of the DAV.
