The family of Master Sergeant John Sweitzer has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
John served in the US Army for over 20 years and retired. He then worked and retired from Civil Service on Fort Hood. John enjoyed bingo, watching movies, collecting movies, John Wayne, poker games, and spending time with his family. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion, and DAV. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession from Crotty Funeral Home.
WX: Mostly sunny, with a high near 95. Heat index values as high as 101. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
