MSgt Benjamin Maclanton Cumbus, 84, US Air Force, Retired, Korean and Vietnam Conflicts Veteran, Bronze Star Recipient, OF Sun City, TX
The family of Master Sergeant Ben Cumbus has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Ben lied about his age and joined the newly formed United States Air Force in 1947, retiring after a 30-year career, which included tours in Korea and Vietnam during those conflicts, as well as serving around the world as a proud Cold War warrior. He felt very privileged to have spent more than half of his career with the Strategic Air Command. He was a Bronze Star recipient. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
