CSM Jimmy Andrew Davis, 79, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star (1OLC) Recipient, OF Morgans Point Resort, TX
The family of Command Sergeant Major Jimmy Davis has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Jimmy joined the Army at 18 years of age and served honorably for almost 24 years, retiring as a Command Sergeant Major in 1980. During his time in the military, he was deployed to Vietnam where he received numerous awards, including the Bronze Star Medal with 1st Oak Leaf Cluster. After retirement, Jimmy began a career with the US Army Corps of Engineers at Ft Hood, TX, again retiring in 1997. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
