The family of Colonel Archie Melvin Meador Jr has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Archie served in the Texas Army National Guard for 32 years, attaining the rank of Colonel and receiving many accolades and awards including Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal and Army Service Ribbon. He was a man of excellence and integrity known for his high standards, fierce loyalty, hard work and fine example. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. South southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph
