PFC John Walker Burns, 88, US Army, Korean Conflict Veteran, coming from Dripping Springs, TX
The family of Private First Class John Burns has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One. The Funeral Service will be held in Dripping Springs, TX the day prior and attended by the Austin PGR. Please see their website if you desire to attend their portion.
John served honorably in the 101st Airborne division of the US Army during the Korean conflict. He was proud of his military service, and took extraordinary pleasure in the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. North wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
