HONOR MISSION
S2c John David Dotson Sr, 93, US Navy, WWII Veteran
The family of Seaman Second Class John David Dotson Sr has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Services of their loved one.
Dotson served in the US Navy on active duty from August of 1942 until February of 1946. During this time, he was stationed at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station as an aircraft radio lab repairman, repairing radios for aircraft. Later in life, he affectionately stated that he had repaired radios for George H W Bush's aircraft, which was also stationed at Corpus Christi during the same period. Upon discharge from the active Navy, Dotson then served in the Navy Reserves as an Airman Apprentice (V-6) until his discharge on 20 January 1953.
Flag line Establishment: 1225 +/- Once the Funeral Service begins; we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

1. Be at staging ON TIME
2. Parking will be in the large parking lot on the south side of the church along 2nd ST, or in the parking lot in front of the Masonic Lodge at the corner of 2nd ST and East ST across the street. Look for the flag truck or the Ride Captain when you arrive.
3. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
