SSG Johnny Taft, 77, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, of Copperas Cove, TX
The family of Staff Sergeant Johnny Taft has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
Johnny had a very active career in the Army, including two tours in Vietnam. Through his service, he was deployed to a variety of places including Germany, Colorado, Georgia, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Alabama, and finally his final stop here in Copperas Cove, Texas. Johnny proudly served his country in the US Army for over twenty years, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 SH 195, Killeen, TX 76542 (http://tinyurl.com/CenTexVetsCeme)
Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
