1st Lt William Freeman, 91, US Air Force, Veteran, OF Georgetown, TX
The family of First Lieutenant William Freeman has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
William graduated from Texas A&M and received his Air Force Officer Commission in 1948 and went into the Air Force Reserve. He was called to active duty and served as the Supply Officer for Bitburg Air Base from 1954 through 1956. Bill was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, and the Army Occupation Medal due to his service in Germany. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. South wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 10 to 15 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
