SP5 John Lee Baska, 77, US Army, Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart Recipient, OF Georgetown, TX
The family of Specialist Five John Lee Baska has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
John's service in the United States Army took him to Vietnam, where he attained the rank of Specialist Five. He received no less than eight service awards and distinctions, including a Purple Heart for the wounds he suffered while in Vietnam. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 80. West wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
