SGT Brett Leif Jabot, 34, US Army/Army National Guard, Iraq War Veteran, Burnet, TX
The family of Sergeant Brett Leif Jabot has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
Brett joined the Army National Guard and after Boot Camp served two tours in Iraq. Brett served twelve years in the Army National Guard and during that time received many awards and commendations. Among other commendations, he was awarded the Combat Action badge, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal. He left the service in 2013 as a Sergeant. Notes:
1. Be at staging ON TIME and TOPPED OFF.
2. There will be no water supplied at CTSVC; please plan accordingly if you are planning on participating in the cemetery portion.
3. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
4. This mission is a flag line before the funeral service in Burnet, followed by a law enforcement escorted procession from the church to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen for a 1400 interment. As a result there is an approximate three hour downtime midday.
