CSM Angel Cruz-Rodriguez, 85, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, of Killeen, TX
The family of Command Sergeant Major Angel Cruz-Rodriguez has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Angel was a decorated war veteran, having served three tours in Vietnam. Angel retired from his military duties after serving honorably for thirty one years and achieved the rank of Command Sergeant Major. After his retirement, Angel continued his passion of service to our nation for over twenty additional years by working as a logistics contractor in various combat zones, including Operation Desert Storm, the Somali War, the Bosnian War, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny and hot, with a high near 99. Calm wind becoming north northeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
3. A mask or face covering will be mandatory, due to the mandate from the State of Texas.
