SGM John Hughes, 89, US Army, Retired, Korea/Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star Recipient, of Killeen, TX
The family of Sergeant Major John Hughes has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Committal Services of their Loved One.
John left school to join the US Army. He was a solder through and through, retiring as a Sergeant Major in February 1972. He served in both the Korean War and the Vietnam War, earning numerous medals and awards including a Bronze Star for combat service in Vietnam. He was also stationed in Germany, France and Fort Hood.
