ULTRA SHORT HONOR MISSION
T/Sgt George Lee "Papa" Easterwood, 89, US Army, Retired, WWII Veteran, of Temple , TX


The family of Technical Sergeant George Lee "Papa" Easterwood has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.

George proudly and honorably served his country in the Army Air Corps from 1946 through 1949. After serving his time in the Air Corps, George enlisted in the US Army from 1949 through 1967 when he retired from active service. Not long after retirement, he continued to serve at the Temple VA Hospital as a volunteer for the next 30 years. Flagline Establishment: 1220 +/- At the discretion of the Ride Captain.

WX: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 102. South wind 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Notes:

1. Be at staging ON TIME.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.

3. A mask or face covering will be mandatory, due to the mandate from the State of Texas.
