SFC Kenneth Morgan, 82, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Bronze Star Recipient, of Killeen, TX
The family of Sergeant First Class Kenneth Morgan has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
At the age of 17 years old, Kenneth joined the US Army and served 27 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He received numerous medals. Among those are the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Army Commendation Award for Civilian Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, and Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal. Kenneth served in Germany where he was stationed in Munich, Kastle, Ansbach, Ayers Kaserne, and Frankfurt. He retired at Ft Hood. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1400. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. North northeast wind around 10 mph.
Notes:
1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
3. A mask or face covering will be mandatory, due to the mandate from the State of Texas.
