SPC Steven Garcia, 55, US Army, Retired, Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veteran, OF Copperas Cove, TX
The family of Specialist Steven Garcia has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Steven served five years in the US Army as a Combat Medic with 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii for three years and AAMED Support BDE at Ft Sam Houston, Texas for one year and nine months. He was reactivated in January 1991 through March of the same year in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 1300. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
