SFC Ronald Taylor, 72, US Army, Retired, Police Officer, OF Copperas Cove, TX
The family of Sergeant First Class Ronald Taylor has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Ron was a leader and mentor of soldiers and was deployed around the world during his time in the Army. He worked tirelessly for his soldiers and earned accolades from all ranks, and volunteered for holiday duty so his soldiers with families were able to go home to spend time with their spouses and children. Ron served 23 years in the Army before he retired, and was also a police officer when he left the Army. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then a chance of showers. High near 65. South southeast wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
