The family of Hospitalman Charles Zentmyer has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.

Charles enlisted in the US Navy July 28th 1961 and served on the USS Yosemite as a hospital corpsman. He was injured in the Bay of Pigs, receiving gunfire from Cuban militants. He also received a concussion during his submarine tour, but still tended to his duties and his shipmates without complaint. Additionally, Charles exemplified his athletic prowess by participating in football games alongside his fellow Navy servicemen. Charles left the Navy with an Honorable Discharge on December 11, 1964. We don’t care what you ride or if you ride, what your political views are, or whether you’re a hawk or a dove. It is not a requirement that you be a veteran. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what your income is; you don’t even have to ride. The only prerequisite is Respect.
