SFC Larry "Papa D" Femrite, Sr, 68, US Army, Retired, Patriot Guard Rider, of Killeen, TX
The family of Sergeant First Class Larry Wayne Femrite Sr has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Papa D retired from the US Army in 1994. He rode with the Patriot Guard for many years and stood for Veterans at missions throughout the state, and became a Ride Captain for Centex in 2015. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. North northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Notes:
1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
3. Motorcycles will be permitted on the drive for this mission to participate in a last rev for Papa D.
