PVT Inez Davis, 86, US Woman Army Corps, Veteran, of Austin, TX
The family of Private Inez Davis has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Inez served between 1956-1958, becoming a combat medic at Fort Sam Houston for the Woman Army Corps. After serving in the Army, Inez continued to serve in her community as a member of the American Legion, American Veteran Pow Wow Association. She was also selected as one of the women to participate in the first female honor flight out of Austin, TX. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny and hot, with a high near 100. Heat index values as high as 106. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

1. Be at staging ON TIME.
2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
