MSgt John Barron, 79, US Marine Corps, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, of Cedar Park, TX
The family of Master Sergeant John Steward Barron has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
John joined the Marine Corps in 1962 under the delayed entry program and graduated Boot Camp in June 1963, training in Helicopter avionics 1966 to 1967. Dad was Sent to the Republic of Vietnam earning the Combat Action Ribbon, and retire after twenty years of service. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny and hot, with a high near 100. Heat index values as high as 105. South wind around 5 mph.

2. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
