SP4 Steven Benton, US Army, Veteran, of Georgetown, TX
The family of Specialist Steven Benton has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Committal Service of their Loved One.
Steven joined the Army in 1962 and after discharge, he worked as a Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, deputy for Williamson County Sheriff’s Department, and he continued his career in law enforcement as a patrolman, detective and forensic artist for the City of Georgetown before accepting the position of Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3 for Williamson County. Setup & Briefing: Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags, be briefed and await arrival of the procession.
WX: Sunny, with a high near 67. Light south southwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
