Due to the Texas executive order restricting the number of people in one place, and the worsening situation due to COVID-19, I am calling a stand down for all missions in the CenTex region until further notice. I’m doing this for the safety of the riders and family alike due to the severity of the virus with certain age groups. I’m also doing this to help the families who are now taking precautions, and I don’t want to inadvertently cause an issue for the family if more than the restricted number show up for a funeral and it puts undue stress on the family to turn the PGR away.
This is a TEMPORARY stand down, and I will be continuously monitoring the situation with the rest of Texas PGR leadership, as well as local authorities and the funeral directors. Any changes in the stand down status will be posted on all CenTex PGR format.
Please be safe, and take this time to take care of yourselves and you loved ones until this storm passes.
