A group of ladies from Georgetown contacted me looking to donate money to an in need Soldiers family for Christmas instead of doing a gift exchange with themselves this year. A soldier was found after contacting some Chain of Commands on Ft Hood and we were asked to make a presentation to the Soldier on Monday morning!! We do have to go on to Ft Hood so the regulations for bikes will have to be followed or you can just cage it which will be much easier!!
A little back ground on the soldier...
He is a SPC, an Iraq Veteran and was wounded...he is married with 3 children ages 5, 2 and 6 months. Their 5 year old son was born with one leg.
The Soldier and his family have no idea this is happening!!
Come join us as we make the day of a Soldier and a Holiday for a family!
We will meet at 0745 at the Kettle in Killeen (Corner of 190 and S Ft Hood St by the Macdonalds) And head in together to the Soldiers unit, they want us there for morning formation!
