Greg, I received this in an e-mail this morning...

Greetings Texas Honor Riders!
The 8th Annual Texas Honor Ride will be Saturday November 9th when we will deliver all the funds raised this year for our Wounded Warriors & their families at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC). Rated one of the Top 10 Rides in Texas, this police escorted ride is from Houston and Austin (new) to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. There will be three staging locations this year, with a new one in the Austin area. The ride goes on base at Ft. Sam Houston to the new Freedom Park and amphitheater at the Warrior & Family Support Center. We will provide lunch with our wounded warriors and their families. There will be music and fun before we present the check and this year we will surpass $1 million dollars raised, thanks to your support!
Donation is $25.00 per bike and $10 for passenger, this is a rain or shine event. Cars are welcomed, but go on their own. ALL proceeds go to the Warrior & Family Support Center at BAMC to help support our Wounded Warriors and their families. We normally have over 600 bikes on this ride. This is the one ride in 2013 that you do not want to miss! The THR is an all volunteer organization with no paid staff.

Staging locations: (maps are on the web site)
Houston Area staging location: Addicks Park & Ride, I-10 and Hwy 6 (Exit #751)

Luling staging location (45miles from San Antonio) Exit 619 Rest Area

Celebration Church Georgetown, TX (New location) 1202 Rabbit Hill Road Georgetown, TX 78626
