The Temple Chamber of Commerce has requested the participation of Patriot Guard Rider Members during the escort of Veterans from the William R Courtney Texas State Veterans Home to the Frank W Mayborn Civic & Convention Center for the 32d Annual Military Appreciation Luncheon (1130-1300).
This escort is being performed by both individual PGR members and In-Country Vietnam MC. ALL groups and individual riders are welcome to join in regardless their affiliation! Please be on time, we don't want to make our honorees late for lunch!
Honoring the past, present and future of Military in Central Texas! This year, with the help of the American Legion Post #133, the Chamber will honor World War II and Korean War Veterans of Central Texas. The event will also salute all veterans, current active-duty military, and encourage the future of our military by engaging area ROTC programs. Featured Speaker: LTG (Ret) Paul Funk.
